Pernod
Pernod is a classic French aniseed liquor created in 1805 originally as an Absinthe until it got banned in 1915. Later on, the recipe was changed to an aniseed liquor and reintroduced to the market in the 1920, with a limit at 40% alcohol. Enjoy with ice and a top-up of cold water (2 to 5 doses of water per dose of Pernod) and you will find yourself travelling to the South of France!
