Garnet in colour with a lively bouquet of black and red fruits with subtle spice, musk and hibiscus notes. The palate is fleshy and mouth-filling with Satsuma plum, mulberry, boysenberry fruit flavours plus Hoisin sauce notes and sweet spice flavours. The blend of fruit from our Frankland River and Mount Barker vineyards really bring a sense of play and complexity with spiced, finely structured parcels of grapes combined with bold, primary flavoured parcels. 15% whole bunch fermentation adds wild depth of flavour and pleasant chewy tannins, balanced by refreshing natural acidity and fine-grained oak texture.  A perfect partner for lamb moussaka, or pair with fried eggplant stuffed with manchego and fresh herbs.

Howard Park is a pioneering Western Australian winery, proudly helmed by the Burch family. The story began in 1986, borne out of an ambition to craft wine with generational cellaring potential.
