Chateau La Croix du Casse - Pomerol 2015
The Chateau La Croix du Casse vineyard extends to the southern tip of the Pomerol plateau, on soils composed of gravel and ancient sands with a good proportion of iron scum. The property was acquired by the Casteja family in 2005. Philippe Casteja at that time began to work to modernize this property.
Chateau la Croix du Casse is a wine of charm and seduction, a product rich in finesse, very representative of its terroir. Lots of underlying iron and earth notes dominate this dense ruby/purple wine, which also has plenty of cassis, black cherry and spice. Full-bodied yet so fine with poised tannins. Polished and beautiful. Stunning.

- Cut the foil below the lower lip.
- Insert the screw into the cork's center.
- Rotate the corkscrew 6 half turns.
- Slowly lever the cork out.
- Wipe off any sediment with a napkin.
