Mirto is Ramón Bilbao’s flagship wine, sourced from old-vine Tempranillo grown on high-altitude vineyards with very low yields. It is powerful yet precise, combining intense dark fruit, floral aromatics, and mineral tension, expressing a more contemporary and ambitious vision of Rioja.

Ageing takes place for around 21 months in new French oak barrels, carefully selected to enhance structure without masking the fruit. The result is a wine of depth and elegance, with firm but polished tannins, layers of spice and graphite, and a long, age-worthy finish.
