Chateau Croizet-Bages - Pauillac 2010
2010 was a fantastic vintage of structure and cellar potential, and it’s a bit more restrained and traditional than the super-ripe 2009s. This blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc is drinking now and should last in the cellar for another decade.
Deep color, floral aromas, and round fruit flavors of currants and plums topped off by silky tannins, spice, earth/tobacco, and some black licorice. Pair with lamb, beef, mature cheeses.
