Our Story
How We Started
1992
The Beginning
Mr. Albert Tan founded Albert Wines & Spirits in 1992 with a goal—to be Malaysia’s leading wine and spirits importer and distributor. His first shop was a small one-level shophouse located at Jalan Kemuja in Bangsar. Though small, he began with a focus on spirits, specifically cognacs and whiskies.
1999
Growing and Diversifying
With the help of his partners, Priscilla Tan and Yoke Ling, the company’s portfolio began to expand into a diverse collection of wines and more. Therefore, they moved to a semi-detached office warehouse situated at SD21 Jalan KIP in Kuala Lumpur to house more inventory.
2005

Albert Wines & Spirits proudly represents famous global brands such as Bollinger, Fiji Water, Frescobaldi, Gruppo Santa Margherita, Famille Perrin, Ayala, and more. We have become a trusted distributor for a range of clients, from airports and duty-free islands to top-notch 5-star establishments.
2019
Navigating the Pandemic
In the midst of the Covid pandemic, our founder and Director of Digital Development, David Stephan, introduced AlbertWine2u—an online hub offering everything for a complete drinking experience.
