The unique addition of an orange wheel is a simple yet striking garnish to enhance the botanical flavours of this unique special edition. Infused with warming spices and bittersweet Spanish mandarin, Bombay Sapphire Sunset is the perfect gin for reconnecting and unwinding with friends, as the sun descends and day becomes night. A unique aromatic flavour expression of Bombay Sapphire, combining the ten signature exotic Bombay Sapphire botanicals with an additional three – golden turmeric, Indian white cardamom, and Spanish mandarin to create a complex but beautifully balanced, vibrant gin. Stir up your creative side and pair Sunset with ginger ale, fresh ginger, and a squeeze of lime to create the refreshing taste of a Sunset Buck, or alternatively can be used to enhance a twist on a classic, as a Sunset Negroni, ideal to enjoy during those warm summer evenings outdoors.

Region Information:

Bombay Sapphire is one of the few gins that has transcended the category, perhaps even helping to elevate it out of the doldrums and into great prominence again. With its iconic blue bottle it is easily one of the world’s most recognised spirits, and can be found in bars across the world. Launched in 1987 and distributed by Bacardi, Bombay is based on one of the earliest recorded recipes for a premium quality London Dry gin.

Creating the finest gin possibly takes the highest quality raw ingredients. We use up to 12 precious botanicals suspended above the spirit in perforated copper baskets during distillation. That way, as the heated spirit vapours rise, they’re gently infused with all the rich aromatic flavours our botanicals release.

While ordinary gins boil their botanicals directly in the spirit to achieve their flavour, the wonderfully distinctive taste of our gin is created using the Vapour Infusion process. We still use our original Carterhead stills – Tom and Mary – from the 1830s, but we have now added two state-of-the-art 12,000 litre copper pot stills – Henry and Victoria – to our refurbished original stills.
