The British magazine Drinks International has published the 2025 Brand Report, based on a survey of a hundred bars in 33 countries.
Torres Brandy continues to be the bestselling brandy brand in the world’s best bars, according to the 2025 Brand Report of Drinks International magazine. The well-known Penedès brandy, produced by the spirits division of Familia Torres, tops the Bestselling Brands list in the brandy category for the sixth consecutive year and takes the second spot of the 'Top Trending Brands.
According to the editor of Drinks International, Shay Waterworth, Torres Brandy remains unchallenged as the Bestselling Brand and continues to be one of the on-trend brandies among the best bars in the world. The magazine attributes this performance to the brand's commitment to innovation with proposals that experiment with different types of barrels for ageing, and to its support to the industry as a sponsor of events as relevant as The World's 50 Best Bars.
Torres Brandy made its foray into the report ten years ago and has been leading the brandy category since this was separated from cognac polling in 2020.
The Drinks International Brands Report, first published in 2010, is considered an excellent indicator of consumer trends and buying habits of the world's best bars when it comes to spirits. It is based on a survey of one hundred of the world’s most influential bars, which are answered by their owners, managers or bartenders.
Spread across 33 countries, these establishments have been nominated or awarded in such important competitions as The World's 50 Best Bars and Tales of the Cocktail Spirits Awards, as well as in prestigious regional and national competitions, such as Asia's 50 Best Bars and Class Bar Awards.
