Caillou Blanc is the White Wine from Chateau Talbot and is a Fourth Classified Growth of 1855, in the village of St Julien – a rare wine in a village focusing on reds. This wine from the Bordeaux Blanc appellation comes from a 5-hectare vineyard, with vines of an average age of 47-years-old and they are planted in Medoc gravel and is aged in barrels (47% in new barrels) and on it lees and with stirring for 8 months. Caillou Blanc. Made mostly of Sauvignon grape variety, with a hint of Sémillon, which gives the wine a superb concentration. This wine combines freshness and an aromatic palette of great complexity.
