Like the world’s finest gins, Ryan Reynolds’s Aviation Gin is distilled using a proprietary maceration recipe that produces a pure medley of botanical flavour. It all starts with our precise blend of botanicals – cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, juniper, and two kinds of orange peel. The botanicals are suspended in a pure, neutral grain spirit for 18 hours in macerating tanks.

A complex Japanese gin with refreshing yuzu citrus top notes and a spicy shansho pepper twist. Roku stands for ‘six’ in Japanese and refers to the six local, seasonal botanicals (sakura flower (cherry blossom), sakura leaf, sencha tea, gyokuro tea, sansho pepper and yuzu peel) which complement eight traditional gin botanicals (juniper berries, coriander, lemon peel, etc) and give this spirit a distinctly Japanese character.

This fairly uncommon Gin comes from the Black Forest in Germany, Monkey 47 contains a fairly unusual ingredient: Cranberries! The 47 comes from the number of botanicals that go into this unique gin, and the fact it’s bottled at a healthy 47%. Predictably complex, this is a robust and powerful gin with plenty of spice, fruit and herb flavours. It’s very well structured, and difficult to unpick but a citrus fresh start segues into pine and wood notes for a drying finish.

Made in the heart of London from 12 hand-selected botanicals including Japanese Sencha and Chinese Green teas, Beefeater 24 is Master Distiller, Desmond Payne’s, contribution to the Beefeater legacy: a sophisticated and modern interpretation to inspire top mixologists around the world to create contemporary cocktails. A light bulb moment when travelling in Japan inspired Desmond Payne to realise tea’s potential as a botanical. In Japan, quinine was strictly banned from the production of tonics resulting in a far sweeter mixer for the traditional G&T. To quench his thirst, Desmond chose to mix Beefeater gin with chilled green tea, as an alternative to the sweet local tonics. The resulting gin and tea combination was remarkable and inspired Desmond to spend the next 18 months trialing and experimenting with different teas and botanical blends.

The inclusion of Japanese Sencha and Chinese Green Tea in the botanical blend distinguishes Beefeater 24 from any other gin, helping to shape its unique aroma and smoothness, while the addition of grapefruit peel ensures that Beefeater’s signature citrus flavour remains present. The ultra-smooth taste of Berkeley Square Gin is achieved through distilling in our small copper pot still, and also from the unique 48-hour distillation process, known as the ‘bouquet garni’ method.

Inspired by leading chefs who have used ‘bouquet garni’ to subtly impart flavour into dishes for many years, this method sees a muslin cloth bouquet of basil, lavender and sage submerged following the first distillation into the liquid, infusing with the core botanicals and kaffir lime leaves as it is still distilled for a second time. This second distillation allows the botanicals to simmer together and the delicate oils to develop, releasing subtle flavours into the spirit.
