Monkey Shoulder is born of one of the oldest whisky-making Scottish families in the world, William Grant & Sons. Still family-owned today, William Grant & Sons has been distilling the finest Scotch whiskies since 1887. Early in the 2000s, the team at William Grants recognized an opportunity to bring the world of Scotch to a much bigger audience through championing cocktails and mixed drinks as a new way to enjoy Scotch. With this brief in mind, an epic blend of Scotch malt whiskies was chosen to create the perfect whisky for mixing, and as you will see from our bottle, the blend that was chosen was called batch 27.

Kamiki is a unique blended malt whisky made using Japanese malts whiskies combined with specially selected malt whiskies from around the world. After blending, the whisky is finished in casks made from yoshino-sugi (often referred to as ‘Japanese cedar’). It’s a particularly aromatic type of wood, and Kamiki is said to be the first whisky ever to enjoy a yoshino-sugi cask finish!

The Glenrothes has been producing Speyside Single Malts since 1879. The Glenrothes’s distillery is in Rothes in the heart of Speyside which is acknowledged by connoisseurs as the source of Scotland’s finest single malts; indeed, it has the highest density of distilleries of any region. This is due to the unusually clement climate experienced in this area and the ample supply of soft water provided by the river Spey.

This Chateau Laguiole Grand Cru is the latest "2020 version" of the famed waiter-style corkscrew. This model now features a "forged bee"; in other words, the bee is now an integral part of the spring (the decorated top part) instead of being soldered.

The sleek, stylish design of the Grand Cru satisfies the need for a modern and more durable wine opener. This model has the same characteristic as the classic but is more suitable for professional use (20/50 bottles per day). The added strength resides in the massif front top bolster, the part where the screw enters the handle.

Introduced in 2011, Wild Turkey 81 Proof was created by Associate Master Distiller Eddie Russell. For a spicy kick, Eddie uses the Wild Turkey famous high-rye mash bill. He then ages the whiskey for 6-8 years, longer than any other whiskey in this ‘weight class’, in hand-selected American oak barrels with the famous #4 “alligator char” to get the most flavor from each barrel. Eddie designed 81 to be a mellower counterpart to the 101 – and while it stands tall on its own, it really shines in a mixed drink like a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned. We like to call it the perfect mixin’ whiskey.

The Gunstock burled walnut are harvested in France. Please note that the actual handle color and pattern of the item you receive may vary from the stock photos. All Chateau Laguiole wine openers are made of 12C27 stainless steel and weigh around 4 oz (113 grams). The overall length closed is 4.5 inches (11.40 cm). Ebony wood (Diospyros crassiflora) are harvested in Gabon, Africa; Ebony is the darkest wood in the world and one of the few that does not float. Generally, Ebony trees are small and slow-growing. Worldwide demand for ebony wood is very high: it’s a high-quality hardwood that’s very hard, very strong, and most of all, very black. As a result, many species of Ebony have been banned from export, and international trade used on this model is highly regulated.

It’s true, bringing an extraordinary and exceptionally balanced 25 Year Old whisky to life isn’t easy. But then again, nothing worthwhile ever is. All those years of ageing in a combination of first-fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks, and bourbon casks, in our temperate Orkney climate, has resulted in a whisky with immense depth and vibrant sweetness. This full-bodied single malt has a rich and nutty spiciness, balanced out with sweet dried fruits, toffee and fudge. It’s been named ‘Best spirit in the world’ by famed whisky writer Paul Pacult in the Spirit Journal. We’re proud of every bottle of whisky we put our name on. But we have to admit this one, with an ABV of 45.7%, is quite special indeed.

The remarkable complexity of our 25 y/o single malt whisky owes a great deal to its maturation in a high proportion of the finest quality first-fill Sherry seasoned European oak casks. The casks impart an astonishing flavour to the whisky as it matures – at once dark and full bodied with a rich and nutty spiciness, yet brimming with sweet dried fruits, cinder toffee and soft fudge. 25 years encased in oak has not only created a whisky with impressive depths, but time has delivered a vibrant sweetness too. Renowned whisky writer F. Paul Pacult named it Best Spirit in the World in the 2013 Spirit Journal – an accolade of which we are particularly (but typically quietly) proud.

The Nikka Tailored was first introduced in 2014, when a limited edition The Nikka 40 Years Old was unveiled to commemorate Nikka Whisky’s 80th anniversary. The asymmetry bottle design represents layers of traditions and heritage which have been inherited from the foundation, and the Nikka emblem is a symbol of our craftsmanship.

Sierra Milenario Tequila Reposado, a 100% de Agave tequila, is carefully distilled twice and stored in oak barrels for up to nine months. Barrel storage gives this tequila its warm, golden color. Sierra Milenario Tequila Reposado contains notes sweet fruit, caramel, and subtle spices. A light amber, golden colour. On the nose it is full of the intense fragrance of agaves harmonised with spices such as vanilla. It has an excellent balance of sherry cask and floral fragrances. In the mouth it has strong notes of agave with a subtle hint of pepper. Its finish is long with the subtle memory of sherry cask.

This is a wonderfully rich and complex single malt. Opening with rich and spicy aromas of crème brulee, heather honey and crumbled cinnamon, intensely fruity notes follow – fresh pineapple dressed with a scattering of sun-kissed lemon zest. There’s a hint of freshly-baked sponge cake too, warm from the oven, and you’ll find cinnamon again, but toasted shards this time. Citrus and vanilla notes linger in the aromatic waves of peat smoke.

We’ve been crafting our award-winning whisky at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798. Age, experience and respect for tradition may define our whisky, but it’s Orkney that sets it apart. Something magic happens here and the result is the wild harmony of flavours found in our whisky.

The 18 year old single malt scotch whisky is matured in a high proportion of American oak casks with a small portion of European oak casks to balance the liquid. The result is an easy to enjoy single malt with dried fruit aromas, a rich complex palate and a soft nutty finish. Complex and well balanced. Smooth and unctuous at first, yet hinting at an intriguing dryness to come on the palate. Aromas of walnuts and polished antique oak lead into a whole bowl of dried fruits (apricots, blackcurrants, apples), followed by ginger biscuits. Later, a smoothly honeyed sweetness is cut by the cleansing freshness of crisp, newly peeled pears. Full, long, and finely detailed, with clear cedar notes against a smooth backdrop of fine, silky chocolate. Becomes leaner, with a memory of gingery malt; that dryness is now offset by a lingering sweetness in a polished conclusion.
