Made in the southernmost region of Japan, the exceptional “Kura The Whisky” is the result of careful aging in American White Oak. Finished in Japanese rum casks, its remarkable sweet aroma is accompanied by its distinctive mellow taste.
Plenty of peaty smoke for those into that, but it remains light on the tongue. The rum finish keeps a very low profile. Otherwise, I’m thinking woody pepper and plenty of grain. The permanence of the unique Okinawa islands is infused with this premium spirit. Crafted in exceptionally small quantities.

Monkey Shoulder is born of one of the oldest whisky-making Scottish families in the world, William Grant & Sons. Still family-owned today, William Grant & Sons has been distilling the finest Scotch whiskies since 1887. Early in the 2000s, the team at William Grants recognized an opportunity to bring the world of Scotch to a much bigger audience through championing cocktails and mixed drinks as a new way to enjoy Scotch. With this brief in mind, an epic blend of Scotch malt whiskies was chosen to create the perfect whisky for mixing, and as you will see from our bottle, the blend that was chosen was called batch 27.
Undisputedly symbolic of the Speri company, the Amarone Monte Sant’Urbano is a superb example of a fine, classic wine. It is an extraordinary wine with great complexity and a vigorous structure which has always been top for its elegance and quality. After carefully selecting the best bunches from the prestigious Monte Sant’Urbano vineyard, the grapes are left to dry for a long period (3-4 months depending on the vintage year). This creates a wine with plenty of structure and softness which will certainly age well.
This complex and fragrant wine opens with dried violet, black plum and cooking spice aromas. A fresh, lightly exotic nose, offering dates, figs, fresh earth and a hint of toasted coconut. On the palate there’s a fresh, focused bead of ripe and dried fruit, riding equally intense, firm tannins. Long finish. From organically grown grapes. There’s a youthful feel to this. It’s just at the start of a long life.

The 12 year-old expression is a fine example of how the distinctively crisp, citrus character of Aberlour’s raw spirit is deftly softened by double cask maturation. Traditional oak and seasoned Sherry butts are both used to great effect, as the mellowed spirits within are combined to deliver a subtly balanced flavour. Soft and rounded, with fruity notes of red apple. A fine sherried character, balanced with rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger spiciness. Warming and lingering, sweet and slightly spicy.
Supremely smooth and utterly exquisite, Laphroaig 25 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is a dram worth savoring. It’s aged for a quarter century in a combination of large Oloroso sherry butts and ex-Bourbon barrels, proving that good things are worth the wait. This mellow single malt Scotch has the distinctive flavor of Laphroaig – peat smoke with a medicinal edge – met by creamy vanilla flavors from American oak and spiced apple from the sherry casks.
A long, warm finish leaves a lasting impression. It is bottled at cask strength, which means it isn’t watered down before bottling. Usually you would only sample whisky this powerful at source. If you find the straight-from-barrel flavor overwhelming, temper it with a splash of water or a few ice cubes.
Laphroaig 25 Year Old Cask Strength is proof that good things take time. Slowly aged in ex-Bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry butts, this Islay Scotch spends a quarter century resting in our warehouse on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Once it’s ready, we bottle it without diluting it. Its lengthy time in barrel adds notes of sweet vanilla and spiced apple to the signature Laphroaig flavors of medicinal smoke and seaweed. Gentle sherry sweetness, imparted by the European oak Oloroso casks, helps to temper the powerful peatiness, and gently transitions into a fruity finish. This exceptional Scotch makes an ideal gift for any single malt lover. It is best served neat, over ice or with a small splash of water.
Laphroaig is one of the few distilleries that still uses a traditional malting floor, and that’s where this 25 Year Old single malt Scotch begins its life. The malted barley is dried and infused in the thick blue smoke of the peat-fired kilns before being mixed with the crisp waters of the Kilbride Stream. Once it’s distilled, the spirit then spends 25 years slowly maturing in oak sherry and bourbon barrels where it gains complexity. Once a quarter century has passed, it’s bottled at cask strength – so each sip tastes as it would if you sampled it at the distillery.

Sweet vanilla and wood spice, smoke and TCP, though restrained, some smoked bacon, with underlying dried fruit added to the mix. Very creamy and rich, with a full texture, peppery, spicy, iodine, saline and smokiness. There’s also a little green apple fruit. Very long and layered finish, waves of rich smoke and a peppery conclusion.

Inspired by that interplay, Suntory Whisky Toki brings together old and new -the House of Suntory’s proud heritage and its innovative spirit- to create blended Japanese whisky that is both groundbreaking and timeless.
Toki is a blended whisky from Suntory’s three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita. Toki has a different composition to another Suntory blend, Hibiki, as its main components are Hakashu single malt and Chita grain whisky. This is a round and sweet blend with a refreshing citrus character with a hint of vanilla oak, white pepper and ginger and a spicy finish.
Patron Anejo is a delicate blend of uniquely aged tequilas, all aged in small white oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months. Similar to wine making, each vintage of Patron Anejo is carefully blended to produce a smooth and distinctive-tasting tequila. Each bottle is numbered by hand and crafted from recycled glass. Carefully crafted this pours bright amber colour with fine notes of oak, vanilla, raisins and honey. The palate is smooth and supple showing notes of caramel and smoke on a long finish; this is ideal for a tequila old fashioned.
In this 2023 vintage, Pascal Jolivet's Terres Blanches cuvée is a plot-based cuvée produced on 100% clay-limestone soils, a great Pouilly Fumé, Loire white wine, 100% Sauvignon.
The colour is a luminous light yellow
The nose is mineral with hints of gunflint characteristic of Pouilly Fumé
The palate is full-bodied, complex, mineral with hints of citrus and white fruit.
To be enjoyed now, this very great wine should be served chilled, at around 10°C. It will go perfectly with a seafood platter, turbot served whole or roasted white meat.

The colour is deep suggesting a big dense style but the wine is surprisingly light on its feet. Sweet, pure and vibrant blackcurrant fruits are tempered by dried herbs with some sweeter blackberry underneath. Oak is there too but sits in the background. This then leads to a bold and explosive palate full of power and energy – fruit pastille flavours are supported by fine acidity that is all underpinned by significant but well handled tannins. It is soooooo long too with the fruit concentration holding that flavour for minutes. A delicious wine stacked full of personality that is hard to put down.

Kamiki is a unique blended malt whisky made using Japanese malts whiskies combined with specially selected malt whiskies from around the world. After blending, the whisky is finished in casks made from yoshino-sugi (often referred to as ‘Japanese cedar’). It’s a particularly aromatic type of wood, and Kamiki is said to be the first whisky ever to enjoy a yoshino-sugi cask finish!
Left to mature longer in the Japanese cedar casks, the Intense maintains balance as it brings forth intensified notes of juicy summer apples, raisins, and plums. Incense joins alongside the dark, rich presence of smoke and toasted wood. The finish lingers longer than the Kamiki Original with sandalwood, pepper, and cinnamon fusing beautifully.
Ripe al Convento is a wine made with scrupulous care and attention from individual berry selection in the vineyard to vinification and ageing in the cellar. It is a Brunello Riserva with powerful personality and exceptional ageing ability. The wine spend a minimum of 2 years in a mix of Large Slavonian oak ovals and French oak barrels, and release 6 years only after harvest.
On the highest hills of this estate, which began producing wine in the year 1800, asmallSangiovese vineyard amazes us with extraordinary emotions. At an altitude of 450 metres, the vineyard benefits from warm sun in the afternoon, galestro type soil, and fresh Mediterranean breezes, producing a uniquely elegant Brunello Riserva, with personality and longevity.
Pipe tobacco, spiced plum, menthol and blue flower are some of the aromas you’ll find on this enveloping wine. Full bodied and savory, the structured, generous palate combines muscle and finesse, doling out fleshy morello cherry, raspberry jam, licorice and a dollop of vanilla alongside velvety tannins. It’s already approachable but will age well for several years or more.

Matured using a bespoke process, originally in refill European oak casks and American oak Bourbon casks, and finished in sherry casks to enhance the fruity notes.
The top notes on the nose rapidly evolve into plummy fruits offset by zesty, oily orange peel. Then, rich caramel toffees, chocolate and malty biscuits. A clever balance of gentle fruit tartness and gingery, rich, sweet malt on the palate. A beautiful balance of lightly cleansing fruit notes and gingery toasted maltiness in the finish.
KI NO BI (translating as ‘The Beauty of the Seasons’) is inspired by tradition and is distilled, blended and bottled in Kyoto. Our Award-Winning gin is made in a recognisably dry style, but with a distinct Japanese accent.
KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin is created with Japanese botanicals such as yellow yuzu from the north of Kyoto Prefecture, hinoki wood chips (Japanese cypress), bamboo, gyokuro tea from the Uji region and green sanshÅ (Japanese peppercorn) berries. Bottled at 45.7% abv, KI NO BI uses a rice spirit base and pure ground water sourced from the famous sake-brewing district of Fushimi.
Mastering not only the science of distillation as others have done before, but also the age-old art of blending, we separate the botanicals in our gin into 6 Elements: Base, Citrus, Tea, Herbal, Spice and Fruity & Floral, and distil each category individually. Then we blend them in perfect harmony to create the distinctive KI NO BI flavour.
KI NO BI uses juniper, orris and hinoki as its base ingredients. These constitute our gin’s basic flavour structure, and account for more than half of the botanicals used. KI NO BI includes yuzu and lemon among its botanicals. Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit, giving our gin a distinctive flavour when distilled. SanshÅ pepper and kinome give KI NO BI an oriental and spicy aroma, which mainly features on the finish.
A fresh aroma of yuzu, and a thread of sansho pepper that lingers like a morning mist in a bamboo forest. The juniper complements and showcases the Japanese botanicals. Ginger root gives a slightly warming, spicy finish.
Pomino Vinsanto stands out for its brilliant amber shades and golden reflections. Its intriguing bouquet ranges from ripe fruity scents to toasted notes. The first aromas are those of dried fruit, such as walnut and almond. These slowly give way to honey and coffee bean. Spicy nuances like nutmeg and vanilla are quick to follow. On the palate, it reveals a perfectly balanced acidity with a sweet component.
The finish is extremely long, clean and dry. Serving suggestions This meditation wine goes perfectly with various desserts, from dry pastries to soft creams and puddings. It is also ideal for savoury pairings, such as foie gras, mature cheeses or flavourful marbled cheeses. It is recommended to be served in large glasses.

The 18 year old single malt scotch whisky is matured in a high proportion of American oak casks with a small portion of European oak casks to balance the liquid. The result is an easy to enjoy single malt with dried fruit aromas, a rich complex palate and a soft nutty finish. Complex and well balanced. Smooth and unctuous at first, yet hinting at an intriguing dryness to come on the palate. Aromas of walnuts and polished antique oak lead into a whole bowl of dried fruits (apricots, blackcurrants, apples), followed by ginger biscuits. Later, a smoothly honeyed sweetness is cut by the cleansing freshness of crisp, newly peeled pears. Full, long, and finely detailed, with clear cedar notes against a smooth backdrop of fine, silky chocolate. Becomes leaner, with a memory of gingery malt; that dryness is now offset by a lingering sweetness in a polished conclusion.

This expression has been tailor-designed to perfection as a hybrid of Nikka’s traditions and modernity. Using primarily malt whiskies in the formula, precise blending results in a perfect marriage of rich malty flavors and soft mouthfeel of Coffey Grain with a complex finish. The result is a perfect symbol of balance, roundness and softness, so many adjectives that characterise Nikka.
