Soil : Clay and limestone

Site : Chanson owns a vineyard of 5.4 hectares in premier Cru "Les Vergelesses". The plot is located in a hollow at the bottom of the hill of Corton and its clay and limestone soil combination gives wines with a specific structure.

The Vintage 2022 : After a winter characterized by marked variations in temperature between January and February, spring started with mild temperatures. A sequence of cold weather in April was followed by warm temperatures in May but the lack of water was very noticeable and could not be compensated by the rainy storms of June. Summer was marked by several and long heat waves and the storms of the end of August were most welcome. The harvest at Chanson started on August 30 with a team of 100 persons and ended on September 13. 2022 vintage was quite generous both in volume and quality and the red wines are generous and well-balanced with an outstanding crunchy fruit.

Tasting : Dark purple color. Intense aromas of ripe dark fruit (black cherries and blackberries) mixed with spices and toasted notes. Complex and well-balanced. Deep, dense and tight texture. Solid tannic structure. Refined oak note. Long and generous aftertaste.

Food pairing : Enjoy with grilled steack (entrecôte), game, stuffed meat, and all the local cheeses (Brillat-Savarin, Epoisses, Citeaux, Langres).

Beautiful expression of Sauvignon Blanc with floral and quince notes. Dry and refined, with a sleek, mineral-bolstered structure. Expect the flavors to echo the bouquet—floral blossom, orchard fruits, and saline clarity—all nestled in sustained freshness. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with shellfish, grilled fish, and light seafood dishes.

La Grande Année Rosé 2015 is a blend of 11 crus, predominantly 62% of Pinot Noir from Verzenay, Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and 38% of Chardonnay from Chouilly and Avize. The blend includes 5 % red wine from La Côte aux Enfants parcel.

Fermentation takes place entirely in oak barrels, and the wine is aged, sealed with a natural cork, for more than twice the time required by the appellation. The dosage is moderate, 8 grams per litre.

The 2015 vintage promises excellence, and La Grande Année Rosé 2015 reflects this beautifully. With delicate pink hues, its nose bursts with fresh strawberry, mandarin, and rhubarb. It’s silky and juicy on the palate, leading with stone fruits and finishing with blood orange notes. Elegantly tannic with a subtle, velvety finish, this wine captures the essence of the forest and woodland.

The wine has plenty of zip with lemon/lime skins, straw and floral hints in the nose. Vibrant yellow colour with restrained aromas of citrus, apple and flint. It is precise and layered with clean, driving acidity, elegance and finesse.  Great with smoked salmon, shellfish, grilled fish, vegetable dishes or goats' cheese.

Pomino Vinsanto stands out for its brilliant amber shades and golden reflections. Its intriguing bouquet ranges from ripe fruity scents to toasted notes. The first aromas are those of dried fruit, such as walnut and almond. These slowly give way to honey and coffee bean. Spicy nuances like nutmeg and vanilla are quick to follow. On the palate, it reveals a perfectly balanced acidity with a sweet component.

The finish is extremely long, clean and dry. Serving suggestions This meditation wine goes perfectly with various desserts, from dry pastries to soft creams and puddings. It is also ideal for savoury pairings, such as foie gras, mature cheeses or flavourful marbled cheeses. It is recommended to be served in large glasses.

The 'Otima' Colheitas Port 2013 offers a rich and inviting bouquet with aromas of dried fruits, nuts, and spices. On the palate, it reveals layers of flavor, including notes of caramel, figs, toasted almonds, and a touch of citrus zest. The extended barrel aging imparts a smooth and velvety texture, balanced by a lively acidity that adds freshness and length to the finish. 

A bouquet of fruity and citrus notes of citron are accompanied by fine floral accents. The nose possesses both the crisp qualities of green apples and the sweetness of ripe apricots. In the mouth, rich and persistent notes of ripe summer fruits lead the way for lingering and fresh citrusy finish.

An approachable yet complex wine, capturing the very best that Rioja has to give, thanks to the winemaking artistry of the Campo Viejo winemaking team. Aged for 18 months in American and French-oak casks (50%). 

Complex aromas. There is a great balance between the fruit (cherries, black plums, ripe blackberries) and the clean nuances coming from the wood (clove, pepper, vanilla and coconut). The nose is further enriched by the aromas that develop during bottle ageing. Smooth and balanced on the palate with a full, elegant feel and a long, lingering finish.

Made from only the finest distillates, this exquisite brandy ages in selected oak casks, gradually developing its aromas and elegant palate. This bottle celebrates the legacy of Juan Torres Casals. In 1928, his generation became the family’s first to market Torres brandy. It is inspired in his decanter, a family heirloom that has been handed down for generations.

Fine, dark amber-coloured. A deep, warm aroma, with traces of dried fruit and nuts. It exhibits elegant hints of spices (vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg). It is round, intensely velvety and lush on the palate, with a lingering aftertaste typical of its noble origin and aristocratic ageing.

Recent Awards:

An intense and brilliant gold with delicate bubbles.  Aromas of toasted bread, mild tobacco and hazelnut followed by notes of dried flowers with a hint of eucalyptus, characteristic of Pinots from Aÿ.  Notes of candied citrus fruits, typical from the Côte des Blancs but creating the surprise in a vintage as warm as 2015. The tasting continues with notes of cocoa and dried fruits. All tasting long, beautiful bitters structure the wine which shows a great length. A subtle balance between freshness, complexity and generosity.

Each numbered piece has been crafted and finished by hand, making it unique. Each gift box is individually numbered with a total of 407 shuttles only made, with 2 only where allocated for Malaysia.

Beautiful deep purple colour. The very expressive nose reveals aromas of blackberries and pepper. The warm, opulent and full-bodied mouth is well balanced and structured, with notes of jammy fruit, redcurrant jelly and black olives. This wine offers great length on the palate.

Macallan 18 Sherry casks is one the most sought-after whisky for collectors; Outstanding, complex Single Malt, matured at The Macallan distillery for a minimum of 18 years in selected Sherry oak casks from Spain. When matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, our rich, fruity and full bodied ‘new make’ spirit is transformed into an iconic single malt. Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for 18 years and is brought together in this rich and complex single malt characterised by mature oak, ginger and raisin flavours.

The oak presentation box is crafted by hand in the UK, using the same sustainable European oak we use to make our casks. The box has been beautifully upholstered with sustainably sourced, soft scottish leather from our renowned partners, Bridge of Weir Leather.

Tasting notes: A fresh fruit medley of apple, peach and grape moving into fresh lime and verbena. Antique oak and soft leather move quickly into a luxurious dark chocolate and dried fruit sensation. The dried fruits are a balance of dates and raisins. Finally, a rich inviting vanilla cake. Warming oak spice of nutmeg and ginger open into the rich dried fruits of raisin, prune, date and a hint of almond nuttiness. The oak rich whisky is warming yet dry with powerful treacle toffee and a baked apple sweetness. A long thought-provoking finish, all of the flavours from the nose and the taste make an appearance in this finish…. Remarkable.
