2016 only brought 2,059 bottles of Mas de la Rosa. the wines was aged in French barrels for 16 months, Very fresh and sumptuous, very unlike most Priorats. Polished, very long and exceptionally fresh. Miguel Torres Maczassek is clearly very proud of this new, fresh style: ‘it’s all about fruit character’.

An excellent balance of sweetness and acidity, highly recommended as an aperitif, with spicy Asian cuisine and after dinner. Classic semi-sweet German Riesling, with green apples and citrus, pineapple and melon, juicy, enticing, lasting taste and low alcohol.
Deep ruby colour with purple nuances. Intense aromas of ripe black berries and black plum mixed with spices and vanilla notes. Dense and deep. Taut with an elegant structure and a tight texture. Well-integrated tannins. It is perfectly matched with red meat grilled or en sauce and all cheeses, especially the local cheeses like Epoisses or Citeaux.

Bright crimson with ruby hues. Generous layers of ripe red fruits combining with notes of mint and spice. The wine has a nice silky texture mouth-feel complimenting red berry characters with a touch of peppery spice from underlying oak and integrated tannins. Great with duck pot pie, herb lamb shanks or char-grilled antipasto, perfect for any meat dish.
Dark red color, complex nose with aromas of black berries (blackcurrant) and plums, with a touch of oak and undergrowth. Complex with good volume. Dense, deep texture with well-crafted tannins. The Vintage 2022 : After a winter characterized by marked variations in temperature between January and February, spring started with mild temperatures. A sequence of cold weather in April was followed by warm temperatures in May but the lack of water was very noticeable and could not be compensated by the rainy storms of June. Summer was marked by several and long heat waves and the storms of the end of August were most welcome. The harvest at Chanson started on August 30 with a team of 100 persons and ended on 13th September. 2022 vintage was quite generous both in volume and quality and the white wines are well-balanced, precise and refreshing.

Disaronno ‘Originale’ is an liqueur with a characteristic almond taste made in Italy. Amaretto (Italian for ‘a little bitter’) is a sweet, almond-flavoured, Italian liqueur associated with Saronno, Italy. In 1525, a Saronno church commissioned artist Bernardino Luini, one of Leonardo da Vinci’s pupils, to paint its sanctuary with frescoes. As the church was dedicated to the Virgin Mary, Luini needed to depict the Madonna, but was in need of a model. He found his inspiration in a young widowed innkeeper, who became his model and (in most versions) lover. Out of gratitude and affection, the woman wished to give him a gift. Her simple means did not permit much, so she steeped apricot kernels in brandy and presented the resulting concoction to a touched Luini.
Giovanni Reina rediscovered the innkeeper’s old recipe a century later and the Reina family developed its amaretto over the centuries until it made Disaronno Originale commercially available at the start of the 20th century. Perfect on its own or over ice, Disaronno is also great to mix with. Try it with your favourite fruit juice (such as orange or cranberry), with cola or in a stylish cocktail.
Founded in 1824 in the heart of Speyside, The Macallan is a staple of Scotch whisky across the world. Crisp and sweet, there are notes of sultanas and fresh apple blossom. There is a defined floral note with a beautiful Sherry, calvados emerges with a tropical fruit note and golden syrup. The palate is medium-body and quite firm, with notes of hot pastries and marmalade, sultanas and peels with a developing sweetness from the barley sugar.

There’s enough fruit flavours here to bring a sense of balance and freshness. Stonefruit flavours with peach and citrus, a round, plump mouthfeel, and a hint of vanilla with the oak. It’s a smart combination."

"Medium straw gold with green edges. Fresh bread crust, preserved lemon, ripe yellow melon, white peach flesh, butterscotch, creamed honey, crushed white salt, roast pork flesh and a little hessian sack. Full and fleshy. There’s a touch of struck match and white quartz stoniness to give some interest and balance over lemon curd, peach melba and nougat. The finish is still crisp with a bitter herb nuance. It’s unapologetically big in style, but showing some class."

Family Legacy is the latest addition to the Camus family. The most remarkable feature of this Cognac is the way its creators methodically, patiently and subtly adhered to the ancestral rules of perfect blending, a legacy of five generations of accumulated expertise, recorded for posterity in notebooks since the 19th century. 8 consecutive blends are required to produce Family Legacy and thus attain the perfect degree of 40.8% vol.
This amber Cognac with sparkling hints of gold captivates with its velvety, complex aromas of tangerine, violet and oak, which notes reminiscent of haute couture perfume. Rich and generous on the palate, the enticing hints of creme brulee expand to reveal a long, complex bouquet of dried fruit notes and a lingering, balanced finish.
