Elegant golden colour with shiny reflections. Subtle and delicate, the nose reveals a seductive aromatic bouquet with notes of juicy pears and quince highlighted by a touch of honey which brings tastiness. Full of roundness, both opulent and well balanced, the palate offers superb aromas of juicy fruit which extend into a long finish supported by a delicate bitterness. An elegant wine, of great finesse.

Crafted from organically-grown grapes

Savoury and red fruited with sweet plum, blackberry and blackcurrant, dark cherry, sage, clove and cola nut. Medium weighted and fine boned with soft cedary tannins and bright acidity. Undertones of leather and dry tobacco leaf emerge subtly through the finish.

Deep-red colour with purple undertones. Both subtle and of great aromatic richness, the nose reveals a very nice balance between the maturity and freshness of the fruit and superb notes of fresh fruit and spices. Very elegant, ample and silky on the palate, it opens up with a spicy attack with aromas of “garrigue” then reveals, as on the nose, a perfect balance between its beautiful tannic richness and its delicate roundness. The very long finish suggests great potential.

Bacardí Reserva Ocho is an eight-year-aged rum, originally created in 1862 as a private blend for the Bacardí family, earning it the name "family reserve." Crafted with care, it’s aged for at least eight years in American oak barrels, resulting in one of the oldest private rum blends in existence.

The aging process gives it a rich amber color and a layered flavor profile, with hints of dried fruit, warm spices, and subtle oakiness. On the palate, expect a balanced mix of butterscotch, nutmeg, and caramelized vanilla, leading to a smooth, lingering finish. Bacardí Reserva Ocho is perfect for sipping neat or elevating cocktails like the Old Cuban or Old Fashioned, highlighting the depth of its flavors. It embodies the craftsmanship and heritage Bacardí is renowned for worldwide.

A blend of 54% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot, the deep garnet-purple colored, 2017 Palmer gives a very serious nose of pronounced blackcurrant cordial, warm plums and blackberry preserves with hints of cedar chest, pencil shavings, violets, dark chocolate and star anise plus exotic wafts of sandalwood and cassia. Medium-bodied, the palate features fantastically vibrant, crunchy black fruits with a firm texture of ripe, grainy tannins and tons of freshness, finishing very long and mineral laced. It will need a good 5-7 years to really blossom with all those tightly wound nuances, but it should be a stunner! 

FIJI Water is from a single source in the pristine, tropical FIJI Islands, an archipelago of over 300 islands nestled in the South Pacific, more than 1600 miles from the nearest industrialized country. It is bottled at the source in the remote Yaqara Valley on the island of Viti Levu. FIJI Water is beloved for its soft taste, unique mineral profile, and iconic square shape. FIJI Water comes from an ancient aquifer deep within the earth on the island of Viti Levu, where it is protected and preserved from external impurities and remains untouched by man – until you unscrew the cap.

Composed of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 1% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc, yields for the grand vin in 2017 were 43 hectoliters per hectare, and it was aged in 60% new oak. It came in at an alcohol of 13% and an IPT of 68. Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cos d’Estournel needs a little coaxing to unfurl, revealing beautiful expressions of preserved plums, boysenberries, blackcurrant pastilles and wild blueberries with hints of Indian spices, menthol, lilacs and mossy tree bark plus a compelling suggestion of iron ore. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a solid backbone of firm, grainy tannins and well-knit freshness supporting the tightly wound blue and black fruits layers, finishing long and fragrant. This wine will need a good 5-7 years in bottle before it begins to blossom and should go on for at least another 40 years. I expect this wine to be a blockbuster of a head-turner when I come back and taste it at 10 years of age!

Cachaca 51 is made from the finest varieties of cane crop harvested at the peak of sugar content from the heartland of the plantation area of Brazil.

Cachaca 51 has a pleasant and sweet aroma with notes of fresh apple and sugar cane juice; spicy, with a sweet and herbaceous finishing in flavor. Cachaca was first produced in the 1530’s, soon after Brazil was discovered. This exquisite spirit is distilled from the fresh juice of Brazilian grown sugar canes, and can be enjoyed as part of a variety of cocktails, including the Caipirinha, as well as straight.

Both Cachacas and Rums are made from sugar cane; the difference lies on the requirement that Cachacas can only be made using pure sugarcane juice, when Rums can be made with either sugarcane juice or molasses.
