The Jaime I brandy has been made with very old soleras aged from selected distilled White Wines. Some of the soleras started off as distilled Parellada wines destined for our Torres 10 brandy, and which have been kept aside for many years to create a valuable reserve stock. These old reserves have been enriched with our best soleras, the oldest being 30 years old.

Description

Jaime I is deep, rich and dark amber in colour. It displays a concentrated complex bouquet, with marked overtones of coconut, dried fruits and spices, typical of lengthy ageing. Round and lush, it has the smoothness that characterises great brandies. Jaime I is complex, majestic, with a lingering finish that leaves a velvety imprint on the palate.

About the Brand

The Torres surname has been linked to wine for more than three centuries, when the family first planted vines in the Penedes. Since it was founded in 1870, Bodegas Torres has combined tradition and innovation with the aim of leading the premium quality wine and brandy sector. In doing so, the company has always carried out its work with the utmost respect for the environment, lead by the 5th generation of the family.

Right from the beginning, exports have been one of the main pillars of the company, and nowadays Torres wines can be found in more than 150 countries. Thanks to countless effort to have Spanish world recognized, Familia Torres has been named Europe’s most admired brand for nine years by beverage magazine Drinks International and Miguel A. The Torres family's philosophy of winegrowing begins with respect for the land. "We live from the earth and we are a family-owned company, so this combination leads us to care for our land and resources — not just for this generation, but also for future generations", says Miguel A. Torres. Torres completely avoids the use of chemical treatments, replacing them with biological alternatives, following the viticulture traditions of Torres' ancestors.
