Our flagship Bumbu Rum is based on the original recipe created by 16th and 17th century sailors of the West Indies, who blended native Caribbean ingredients into their rum and called it “Bumbu” – truly the original craft spirit. Bumbu is distilled and bottled at a 123-year old distillery in Barbados from first class sugarcane selected from eight countries across the West Indies.

Bumbu is a premium rum brand that draws inspiration from Caribbean history and craftsmanship. Its flagship product, Bumbu Original, is distilled and blended in Barbados, the birthplace of rum, using fine Barbados rum and hand-selected spices to evoke the rich and colourful history of the West Indies.

The brand's portfolio also includes Bumbu XO, a smooth, rich, and complex rum distilled and aged in Panama, aged in bourbon barrels and selectively finished in white oak sherry casks to achieve a beautifully balanced, endlessly sippable rum.

Bumbu's distinctive bottle design features a tarnished metal "X" medallion and a map of the Caribbean, reflecting its deep-rooted connection to the region's rum-making heritage.
