Bright lemon-yellow in colour, the 3 Tales Sauvignon Blanc exudes ripe primary aromas of gooseberry and passionfruit with a mineral tone. The white of the vintage is the 2016 Domaine de Chevalier Blanc, which comes from a high-density planting of 30-year-old vines located west and south of the town of Leognan. A blend of 75% Sauvignon and 25% Semillon raised in 35% new barrels, it offers a massive bouquet of crushed citrus, salty minerality, white flowers, and grapefruit. Racy, full-bodied, concentrated and beautifully textured, it’s a brilliant wine that has more flesh and texture than the 2015 and will keep for two decades or more. Hats off to the team at Domaine de Chevalier for this brilliant, brilliant white!
Sourced exclusively from the village of Sancerre, this is fresh, clean and screaming with racy acidity. Bargylus White, a unconventional blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, elegantly combines strength & refinement it has a strong color, the range of aroma is perceivable through the fresh fruit & minerality that translates the very shingly soil. The balance between sweetness, that comes with sunniness and the grapes, full maturity, and salinity that comes with limestone, allows Bargylus to convey a strong soil identity and an inimitable taste. Fading yellow with light green reflections. The noses expresses exotic fruit aromas of papaya and lemon with a touch of saltiness as well. On the pallet the wine is very elegant, round, keeping a lot of freshness due to a good acidity – bringing great ageing potential.

The 2017 Chateau Pape Clement Blanc showed spectacularly well and is one of the wines (if not the wine) of the vintage. Based on 55% Sauvignon and 45% Semillon aged 14 months in barrel, it offers powerful notes of honeyed melon, tart pineapple, green figs, and floral notes as well as a terrific sense of minerality. Concentrated, medium to full-bodied, with rocking levels of acidity, give it 2-4 years and enjoy over the following 15 years or more.

In this 2023 vintage, Pascal Jolivet's Terres Blanches cuvée is a plot-based cuvée produced on 100% clay-limestone soils, a great Pouilly Fumé, Loire white wine, 100% Sauvignon.
The colour is a luminous light yellow
The nose is mineral with hints of gunflint characteristic of Pouilly Fumé
The palate is full-bodied, complex, mineral with hints of citrus and white fruit.
To be enjoyed now, this very great wine should be served chilled, at around 10°C. It will go perfectly with a seafood platter, turbot served whole or roasted white meat.

The wine has plenty of zip with lemon/lime skins, straw and floral hints in the nose. Vibrant yellow colour with restrained aromas of citrus, apple and flint. It is precise and layered with clean, driving acidity, elegance and finesse. Great with smoked salmon, shellfish, grilled fish, vegetable dishes or goats' cheese.
This is Casillero del Diablo’s most famous variety, and Decanter magazine called its 2005 vintage the best of the planet. It features intense aromas of cherries and plum with a touch of vanilla and toast. It has the most body of all red varieties and is elegant and ideal with red meats such as beef with black pepper sauce.
