Vibrant purple with deep crimson hues. Lifted aromas of black currant, blueberries over hints of bay leaf and milk chocolate. The soft medium bodied wine shows layers of blackcurrant and red berries, complimented by the soft supple tannins and nuances of chocolate oak. Pairs well with slow cooked beef ribs or a hearty pasta.

This AOP Sables de Camargue rosé is a tribute to the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle, perfect for pairing with summer salads, grilled fish, or simply enjoying as an aperitif with friends.

Colour: Delicate pale-peach colour, with subtle silver highlights.

Aroma: With a beautiful minerality, the nose offers a very fresh aromatic bouquet with notes of bergamot and a saline touch that reminds of sea spray.

Palate: Round and harmonious, the palate is perfectly well balanced between the delicacy of the fruit and the minerality, with, as always, very beautiful freshness and a seductive liveliness underlined by aromas of lime zest. An elegant wine dominated by its remarkable freshness.

Reserva Real was created after his majesty King Don Juan Carlos visited the winery in 1995, and was treated to one of the most exclusive and limited production wines in Spain. It’s difficult – almost impossible – not to fall head over heels in love with this rare, multi-award-winning wine. The blend is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc. Only about 2,000 bottles are made from the vineyard in Medlona, Alt Penedes each year. What is so special about the vineyard is the atypical slate soil, which pushes and enhances the ripeness and concentration of the fruit. The wine undergoes 30 days of skin contact and is aged for eighteen months in new French oak.

Intense mahogany red with hints of russet. Its aroma can be identified by its great aromatic intensity, with notes from its long ageing in new oak (liquorice, spices, vegetation), complemented with lactic notes and those of jam. On the palate this wine is characterised by a lush attack, good body and concentration that befit a wine that’s perfect for laying down. Its tannins are sweet and well-structured and it has a long, elegant finish.

Polished, high toned aromas of buttery caramel, artisan chocolate covered apricots and apples, anise, and roasted nuts. A rich yet supple entry leads to a dry-yet-fruity full body of dense dried fruit, nut, sweet spice, chocolate, and cigar box flavors. Finishes with an exceptionally long finish of toffee, leather, chocolate covered espresso bean, anise cookies, tobacco, and lavish brown spices. A gentle giant of a cognac to contemplate and savor. Often referred to as the classic Australian Red Wine, Shiraz is an easy to drink, all-time favourite. Yellow Tail Shiraz is vibrant, smooth, and rich. Rich and smooth, with juicy red berries and hints of liquorice and spice. With steak or in front of a roaring fire.

Each variety is harvested separately and manually. Vinification takes place in oak fermenters for the reductive varieties (Mourvedre, Syrah) and in traditional enameled concrete tanks for the Oxidative grapes (all the others). Once the malolactic fermentation is finished, the Famille Perrin blends the different varieties. The blend is then aged in oak Foudres for a year before being bottled.

The 2020 Beaucastel has lots of Mourvèdre character in its bright red and blue fruits as well as spice, pepper, and assorted meaty nuances. With medium to full-bodied richness on the palate, it shows the fresh, elegant, yet still nicely concentrated style of the vintage and is unquestionably another impressive, classic vintage for this cuvée. It should offer some pleasure in its youth as well as evolve for 20+ years in cold cellars

This great wine is made for cellaring. It is slowly following its evolutionary path. It oscillates between periods of closure and openness during which one discovers a vast aromatic palette filled with a mix of black fruits, the scents of woody underbrush, and hints of minerals. The tannins have a strong presence and the acidity provokes a fresh finish in the mouth. Its anticipated maturity is without a doubt in 15 to 25 years.

Shiraz from the Frankland River and Mount Barker subregions of the Great Southern are blended to highlight the distinctive varietal and regional qualities of our best sites.  The expression of Shiraz from this cool, continental climate is characterised by an intensity and concentration of dark fruits with traces of spice, earth and guiding tannins.

Deep dark cherry and plush red berries, with exotic sweet spice, and savoury bush herbs seasonings. The depth and dimension of sweet fruit on the palate gives plushness and softness to the middle palate and fine supple tannins, a gentle mineral-like grip to finish. A Shiraz full of plush and primary fruit, embellished with sweet and savoury spice notes, captured in fine supple tannins.  Drink with osso bucco on polenta or a salad of bresola, shaved cauliflower & radicchio.  Drink now or cellar for up to 7 to 10 years.

The Real Review: 94Pts; The Wine Front: 93Pts

Showing spectacularly, the 2017 Chateau Canon checks in as a final blend of 77% Merlot and 23% Cabernet Franc that’s from one of the most exceptional terroirs in the appellation. Hitting 14% alcohol, it reveals a ruby/purple hue as well as gorgeously sweet raspberries and cassis-like fruit interwoven with notes of spring flowers, rose petal, white chocolate, and spice. While it doesn’t have the massive opulence of the 2015 and 2016, it’s more classically styled as well flawlessly balanced, with a terrific sense of minerality, ultra-fine tannins, and a brilliant finish. Give bottles 5-7 years in the cellar, and it will evolve gracefully for 30-40 years. 

This is a beautiful rose with pale fruit, fresh and balanced. The fruit is crunchy on the nose (clementine). Intense freshness and great aromatic elegance in this blend – a wine of gluttony and pleasure. At the same time mineral, lively, complex, and elegant.

Certified Organic & Biodynamic

Bright ruby color. Fragrances of rose petal mixed with aromas of ripe strawberry and strawberry jam on a hint of vanilla. Well-balanced and complex. Dense and crunchy texture. Well-crafted tannins. Long and generous finish.   Enjoy with red or white meat, poulty and local cheeses (Citeaux, Langres, Epoisses, Brillat-Savarin).

The white of the vintage is the 2016 Domaine de Chevalier Blanc, which comes from a high-density planting of 30-year-old vines located west and south of the town of Leognan. A blend of 75% Sauvignon and 25% Semillon raised in 35% new barrels, it offers a massive bouquet of crushed citrus, salty minerality, white flowers, and grapefruit. Racy, full-bodied, concentrated and beautifully textured, it’s a brilliant wine that has more flesh and texture than the 2015 and will keep for two decades or more. Hats off to the team at Domaine de Chevalier for this brilliant, brilliant white! 

Soil : Clay and limestone

Site : Chanson owns a vineyard of 5.4 hectares in premier Cru "Les Vergelesses". The plot is located in a hollow at the bottom of the hill of Corton and its clay and limestone soil combination gives wines with a specific structure.

The Vintage 2022 : After a winter characterized by marked variations in temperature between January and February, spring started with mild temperatures. A sequence of cold weather in April was followed by warm temperatures in May but the lack of water was very noticeable and could not be compensated by the rainy storms of June. Summer was marked by several and long heat waves and the storms of the end of August were most welcome. The harvest at Chanson started on August 30 with a team of 100 persons and ended on September 13. 2022 vintage was quite generous both in volume and quality and the red wines are generous and well-balanced with an outstanding crunchy fruit.

Tasting : Dark purple color. Intense aromas of ripe dark fruit (black cherries and blackberries) mixed with spices and toasted notes. Complex and well-balanced. Deep, dense and tight texture. Solid tannic structure. Refined oak note. Long and generous aftertaste.

Food pairing : Enjoy with grilled steack (entrecôte), game, stuffed meat, and all the local cheeses (Brillat-Savarin, Epoisses, Citeaux, Langres).
