The ancestry of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut can be traced back to 1846, when Maison Perrier-Jouët launched its historic Cuvée K, the world’s first lightly dosed champagne in the style today known as “brut”. Dosed at a sugar level of less than 5% – daringly little for an era when champagnes regularly contained up to 40%. Maison Perrier-Jouët became renowned for its brut champagnes, which it was able to produce owing to the fact that its high quality grapes required very little added sugar – a philosophy maintained to this day.

The Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut is delicate, elegant and balanced. The striking freshness and vivacity of the floral and fruity fragrances (yellow fruits and fresh fruits) take root, before giving way to subtle notes of vanilla and butter, lending the wine a fruity and consistent character. The notes of cherry plum, lemon and bergamot orange emerge first, then make way for the flowers of fruit trees, such as lime and honeysuckle. These are followed by notes of butter, madeleine cakes and vanilla sugar. Lingering notes of grapefruit, white peaches, green pears, apple trees and green hazelnuts round off the taste.

Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé takes its inspiration from Maison Perrier-Jouët’s Blason de France prestige cuvées—introduced in 1955 and served in some of the world’s finest restaurants. Crafted with gastronomy in mind, this rosé is designed to accompany an entire meal, overturning the traditional idea that rosés are best saved for dessert.

A distinctive salmon-pink hue greets the eye, while intense aromas of ripe red and black fruit mingle with a hint of exotic pomegranate. On the palate, it is lush and lively, lingering into a generous, full finish—defying every cliché about rosé. Imagine a rose petal: delicate in appearance, yet traversed by veins that provide strength, structure, and tension underneath.

Its superb balance and impressive structure make Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé a perfect partner for adventurous food pairings. “Try it with a rib of beef on the barbecue—it has the character and charisma to rise to the occasion,” suggests Cellar Master Séverine Frerson. A blend of the Bordeaux varieties par excellence, with an elegant nose, toasted notes and hints of spices imparted by oak aging. Potent upon entry, it unfolds across the palate to display great length, good tannins, lush body and a long, lingering finish.   Dark ruby red core with a mature rim. Pure nose offering some mature notes, leather, cedar wood tobacco with ripe dark berries, cassis and cherry. The palate is dense and chewy, still a youthful texture, ripe dark fruit flavours a slight herbal spiciness, a dash of oak and good length. Still youthful with potential for ageing.

Crafted from ertified organic grapes

Boulard Calvados is the first name in super-premium Calvados, the celebrated apple-based spirit unique to the Normandy region of Northern France. Boulard was Founded in the late 1820s by Pierre-August Boulard.

Produced from a blend of Calvados from the Pays d’Auge AOC aged from 2 to 5 years, the Boulard ‘Grand Solage’ is characterised by its apple fragrance and its amber colour. The pure initial taste of the Grand Solage is followed by a fruity flavour and the vanilla taste of oak. Perfect with a meal, it is also highly appreciated as an aperitif with tonic or on ice.

An intense and brilliant gold with delicate bubbles.  Aromas of toasted bread, mild tobacco and hazelnut followed by notes of dried flowers with a hint of eucalyptus, characteristic of Pinots from Aÿ.  Notes of candied citrus fruits, typical from the Côte des Blancs but creating the surprise in a vintage as warm as 2015. The tasting continues with notes of cocoa and dried fruits. All tasting long, beautiful bitters structure the wine which shows a great length. A subtle balance between freshness, complexity and generosity.

Château La Croix du Grand Jard – Bordeaux

Perrier-Jouet Belle Époque Champagne is an exquisite vintage cuvée that has captivated champagne enthusiasts since its first release in 1964. With its instantly recognizable bottle adorned with the elegant spray of Japanese white anemones, it stands as a testament to the timeless beauty and artistry of Maison Perrier-Jouët. The inspiration behind the design of the bottle comes from the brilliant mind of Emile Gallé, a renowned master of the Art Nouveau movement. In 1902, Gallé created the delicate and graceful spray of Japanese white anemones, which has since become an iconic symbol of Perrier-Jouet . The intricate details and meticulous craftsmanship of the bottle reflect the dedication and passion that goes into creating this exceptional champagne.

Tasting Notes:

On the eye: A pale gold, clear and luminous, like the rising sun.

On the nose: Delicate aromas of fruit – vine peach and poached pear – and linden and hawthorn blossom.

On the palate: Notes of juicy vine peach lend a fine texture, complemented by poached pear and rhubarb.

Paring: This prestigious cuvée pairs naturally with noble ingredients: king prawns with creamy polenta, sole meunière, Parmesan or Comté cheese.

Brilliant peach skin. Red berries and pit fruits on the nose, and a floral nuance in the background. Silky and open-knit, showing good depth as well as energy to the red currant and nectarine flavors, which pick up a refreshingly bitter orange zest quality on the back half. Finishes long and juicy, with a repeating floral note and subtle grip. Flavorful and intense on the medium- to full-bodied palate yet so very restrained and elegant. Super-value wine as always.

Bright ruby color. Fragrances of peony on greedy aromas of red fruits, spices and fine woody notes. The attack is frank, with a very fine aromatic expression. Beautiful energy on a supple texture and well-integrated tannins. Good length with spicy notes.  A great classic Burgundy, ideal with braised or roasted meats or a brioche sausage

The 2013 Dom Pérignon is a lovely wine defined by the long cool growing season. Offering up aromas of crisp stone fruit tangerine oil buttered toast pear almonds and clear honey it’s medium to full-bodied ample and seamless with bright acids and a pillowy enveloping profile concluding with a long saline finish. Vincent Chaperon recalls that shatter at fruit set moderated yields and that a drying east wind in the weeks before harvest helped to maintain the good sanitation necessary to wait to pick at full maturity.

Pretty soft-pink colour revealing a nose with aromas of redcurrants in jelly and cherry sorbet. Smooth fruity notes on the palate, this soft wine full of freshness shows a very nice balance.

Dark, garnet colour with purplish reflections. On the nose, notes that are both meaty, sanguine (blood oranges) and juicy. A lightly roasted smoky touch (mocha) blends with a hint of leather. On the palate, this blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache gives a powerful, fleshy but perfectly harmonious wine. This ruby red is especially appreciated to accompany traditional cuisine: stew, blanquette and certain fish such as sea bream, sea bass as well as with cheeses.

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Petit Verdot is a nicely dense wine, with very refined aromas of caramel leather and red fruits; Good structure, the tannins are present but melted, the wine offers a good acidity that brings a lot of freshness to this vintage Finish: Long with beautiful fruits along with minerality and freshness.

Crafted from organically-grown grapes

Fragrant dark fruits with hints of red cherry and spicy oak. Fruit driven palate, blackberry and cherries with hints of vanilla oak.  Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon make wonderful partners in traditional Australian blend. The spiciness of the Shiraz and berry flavours of the Cabernet Sauvignon make for a harmonious blend. Harvested at optimum flavour ripeness, then fermented on skins with some American oak.

Bright ruby colour. Intense aromas of ripe red berries mixed with spices and vanilla. Complex and well-balanced with a tight and deep texture. Well-shaped tannins. Long and spicy aftertaste.  Great with red meat grilled or en sauce and all sorts of cheeses, especially our local cheeses like Epoisses, Citeaux and Langres.

Bin 8 has been crafted in the traditional Penfolds style. Ripe, balanced fruit flavours are supported by softly integrated oak resulting in a silky, smooth Red Wine. It was introduced in response to an interest in Cabernet Shiraz blends – a classic Australian wine style that caught the attention of the international wine media. Although Bin numbers were originally named after the original binning location after bottling, Bin 8 was given its number because it uses older oak previously used for Bin 128, Bin 28 and Bin 389 – with ‘8’ obviously providing the common thread.

Boysenberry ice cream flavours flesh out the sumptuous palate, bolstered by Moroccan tagine spices and cumin roasted pumpkin. Earthy spices are rounded out by an invigorating red currant succulence. Tannins are powdery clearly showing the influence of cabernet sauvignon. A very focussed wine with plenty of flesh ably supported by well integrated oak.
