Deep ruby colour with purple nuances. Intense aromas of ripe black berries and black plum mixed with spices and vanilla notes. Dense and deep. Taut with an elegant structure and a tight texture. Well-integrated tannins. It is perfectly matched with red meat grilled or en sauce and all cheeses, especially the local cheeses like Epoisses or Citeaux.

The Lion & Dragon Rosé from Château Roubine in Provence reveals a bright, light red color in the swirled glass. When swirling the wine glass, one can perceive a first-class balance in this rosé wine, as it does not stand out on the walls of the glass, neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like. To the nose, this Château Roubine rosé wine shows all sorts of lemons, strawberries and pears. As if that weren't already impressive, the aging in large wooden barrels adds other aromas like toasted wood.
This rosé wine is never coarse or meager, as one might expect from a top wine. Balanced and multifaceted, this light rosé wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of Provence finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of strawberry and lemon. Drink this rosé wine from France ideally moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C as an accompanying wine to asparagus salad with quinoa, stir-fried vegetables with fish or coconut-lime fish curr

Aged for about a year in oak, the wine has a beautiful red burgundy dress with garnets notes. Fine and supple, this wine reveal on the palate a round and smooth body. Served at 16 degrees, it will be delicious to accompany cooked meats, roasted meat and grilled fish.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Clinet opens slowly to reveal vibrant red and black fruits: red currants, black cherries, plums and cassis with touches of roses, yeast extract, wood smoke and crushed rocks. Medium-bodied with firm, grainy tannins and a taut, muscular palate of tightly wound fruits and compelling mineral accents, it finishes long with wonderful purity and fragrant earth accents. The tannins here will need 4-5 years of bottle age, and I’d lean toward drinking bottles over the following decade.
