Moët Impérial is the House’s iconic champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies Moët & Chandon’s unique style, a style distinguished by its bright fruitiness, its seductive palate and its elegant maturity. Created from more than 100 different wines, of which 20% to 30% are reserve wines specially selected to enhance its maturity, complexity and constancy, the assemblage reflects the diversity and complementarity of the three grapes varietals.

Reserva Real was created after his majesty King Don Juan Carlos visited the winery in 1995, and was treated to one of the most exclusive and limited production wines in Spain. It’s difficult – almost impossible – not to fall head over heels in love with this rare, multi-award-winning wine. The blend is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc. Only 2,000 bottles are made from the vineyard in Medlona, Alt Penedes. What is so special about the vineyard is the atypical slate soil, which pushes and enhances the ripeness and concentration of the fruit. The wine undergoes 30 days of skin contact and is aged for eighteen months in new French oak.
Deep garnet colored, this Spanish reared Bordeaux blend offers pronounced notes of crushed black berries, black plums and blueberries with an undercurrent of baking spices, vanilla and tobacco. Medium to full bodied, the palate is still very youthful with a good concentration of taut fruit supported by medium to high acidity and firm chewy tannins, finishing long.

Magnificent shiny red colour with carmine undertones. Powerful and complex, the nose reveals a superb aromatic bouquet with aromas of very ripe red fruit, combined with notes of chocolate, tobacco and undergrowth. Generous and silky, the palate opens with a soft and round attack before revealing its elegant tannic structure, perfectly well balanced and very harmonious. A refined wine with remarkable harmony, a sign of great maturity in this particularly hot and dry vintage.

Beautiful limpid ruby-red colour. The delicate nose of this wine is typical of Gigondas with aromas of pepper, liquorice and violet. On the palate, it offers a silky texture, very soft with delicate tannins and superb notes of small black fruit. Drink it over the coming decade.

This Single Vineyard wine is a blockbuster in the making. L’Argnée shows a beautiful colour of an intense and deep red with purple reflections. The nose offers a superb aromatic expression combining fruity notes of fresh blackberries and aromas of black truffle. The palate is complex, smooth and round, with particularly silky tannins and powerful aromas of cocoa and ripe black fruit, typical of Gigondas.

Each variety is harvested separately and manually. Vinification takes place in oak fermenters for the reductive varieties (Mourvedre, Syrah) and in traditional enameled concrete tanks for the Oxidative grapes (all the others). Once the malolactic fermentation is finished, the Famille Perrin blends the different varieties. The blend is then aged in oak Foudres for a year before being bottled.
The 2020 Beaucastel has lots of Mourvèdre character in its bright red and blue fruits as well as spice, pepper, and assorted meaty nuances. With medium to full-bodied richness on the palate, it shows the fresh, elegant, yet still nicely concentrated style of the vintage and is unquestionably another impressive, classic vintage for this cuvée. It should offer some pleasure in its youth as well as evolve for 20+ years in cold cellars

Consistently one of the gems of the Southern Rhone, ‘Les Hauts de Julien’ has a slightly Northern Rhone-like style. Beautiful deep ruby-red colour with purple undertones. The nose reveals a seductive aromatic bouquet with notes of black fruit and graphite. Powerful and silky on the palate, this wine offers round, soft tannins with very concentrated aromas of very ripe fruit, liquorice and amaretto, mixed with floral and marshmallow notes. The mouth has a long finsih with aromatic persistence.

Mumm Grand Cordon Rose is an independent spirit. This brut rose champagne challenges convention, a refreshing antidote to the floral and sweet fruit flavours of traditional rose champagne. Chardonnay grapes for elegance and minerality; Pinot Meunier grapes for roundness and balance. Up to 14% distinctive and bold red Pinot Noir wines, sourced from some of Champagne’s most prestigious villages. Around two years of ageing in the cellars.
Delicate colour takes centre stage with a luminous pale salmon pink, enlivened by shades of orange. Mumm Cordon Rose has intense fruit aromas – fresh strawberries, cherries and redcurrants – with a swirling undercurrent of vanilla and caramel. Lively, energetic and perfectly dry in the attack, revealing hints of summer fruits yet with an unexpected arrow of precision running right through to the long savoury finish.

Exuberant bubbles, Mumm Grand Cordon has a brilliant and golden colour. Lush aromas of ripe peach, apricot and pineapple cascade from the glass, chased by hints of vanilla and caramel, yeast, dried fruit and honey. One sip and Mumm Grand Cordon unleashes intense, complex flavours of fresh fruit and caramel that morph into a long, lingering finish.

Each numbered piece has been crafted and finished by hand, making it unique. Each gift box is individually numbered with a total of 407 shuttles only made, with 2 only where allocated for Malaysia.
Dark, garnet colour with purplish reflections. On the nose, notes that are both meaty, sanguine (blood oranges) and juicy. A lightly roasted smoky touch (mocha) blends with a hint of leather. On the palate, this blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache gives a powerful, fleshy but perfectly harmonious wine. This ruby red is especially appreciated to accompany traditional cuisine: stew, blanquette and certain fish such as sea bream, sea bass as well as with cheeses.

La Grande Année Rosé 2015 is a blend of 11 crus, predominantly 62% of Pinot Noir from Verzenay, Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and 38% of Chardonnay from Chouilly and Avize. The blend includes 5 % red wine from La Côte aux Enfants parcel.
Fermentation takes place entirely in oak barrels, and the wine is aged, sealed with a natural cork, for more than twice the time required by the appellation. The dosage is moderate, 8 grams per litre.
The 2015 vintage promises excellence, and La Grande Année Rosé 2015 reflects this beautifully. With delicate pink hues, its nose bursts with fresh strawberry, mandarin, and rhubarb. It’s silky and juicy on the palate, leading with stone fruits and finishing with blood orange notes. Elegantly tannic with a subtle, velvety finish, this wine captures the essence of the forest and woodland.

The 2010 Vieilles Vignes Françaises (only 1,416 bottles made) dazzles from the very first impression with striking aromatic presence and utterly captivating balance. Mirabelle, sweet red cherry, jasmine and passion fruit are some of the many notes that give the 2010 its decidedly racy, exotic personality. The 2010 exudes rare energy for this vintage, which was hardly easy in the field, not to mention real pedigree.

The pinot-based fruit underlying this wine is in evidence because there is an abundance of citrus, baked bread and floral characters that include rose and acacia blossom scents on the utterly transfixing nose, there are also background wisps of various red berry nuances. There is a wonderful and beguiling texture to strikingly complex, intense and vibrant flavors that possess a highly refined mouth feel thanks to the ultra-fine bead of the supporting mousse that shapes the focused and gorgeously long finale that is agreeably dry but not really austere. I was knocked out not only but the texture but also the imposing depth and while these two elements render the ’07 VVF approachable, it’s clear that this should generously repay extended keeping. In short, this is a genuinely great effort.
