The unmistakable expression of Pinot Noir in Pomino, this wine embodies the uniqueness of the land, especially suited for varieties that convey its style and elegance. Pomino Pinot Nero features a delicate, floral, fruity bouquet accompanied by well-balanced, spicy notes. It impact with its elegant, bright ruby red colour and reflections of subtle garnet. Its bouquet is an explosion of red currants and berries together with sweet, spicy notes reminiscent of cinnamon, ginger and juniper. With time, balsamic notes emerge, finishing off with aromas of leather, coffee beans and cocoa powder. On the palette, fruity and liquorice flavours are present, accompanied by velvety tannin scents. The freshness is perfectly balanced by the alcoholic notes, while the finish is long and persistent.

The Rialzi single vineyard is located at an altitude of 500 metres above sea level and beyond, laid out over three terraces with alberese soils and a south-western exposure. After careful work in the vineyard, the Sangiovese grapes were carefully harvested by hand. Fruit of a careful handpicked selection, the wine was matured for 36 months, of which 24 were spent in barriques.

The 2018 Rialzi is a bright and deep ruby-red colour with light garnet highlights. Its bouquet is extremely broad yet elegant. The notes of undergrowth are particularly prominent, accompanied by fruity hints of sour cherry. Among the floral notes, rose dominates, alongside spicy scents of juniper and cinnamon. The nose is finished with delicate tertiary notes, perfectly integrated into the body of the wine. Balanced, warm and dry in the mouth. The tannins are soft and silky. An extremely long and persistent finish.

Aged for 24 months in oak barrels, The Tenuta Calimaia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is an intense ruby-red colour to the eye. The nose has clear notes of red fruits: cherry and sour cherry at the outset, followed by intense notes of aromatic herbs and spices, among which sage, cardamom and pink pepper stand out. Finally, dark chocolate aromas are accompanied by hints of licorice. To start off, its body is generous, voluminous and fresh on the mouth at the same time. The tannic texture is dense and soft. Remarkable consistency between the aroma and flavour, and very long intense aromatic persistence.

The bouquet is all in progress and in a second moment appear sensations of aromatic herbs such as thyme and sage.
