The deep garnet colored 2009 Montrose features beautiful Black Forest cake, licorice, creme de cassis and warm blueberries scents with hints of charcoal, truffles, tapenade and menthol plus a waft of star anise. The palate is full-bodied, rich, super concentrated and yet superbly harmonious with a firm backbone of ripe, grainy tannins and wonderful freshness, finishing long and mineral laced. 

Jaime I is deep, rich and dark amber in colour. It displays a concentrated complex bouquet, with marked overtones of coconut, dried fruits and spices, typical of lengthy ageing. Round and lush, it has the smoothness that characterises great brandies. Jaime I is complex, majestic, with a lingering finish that leaves a velvety imprint on the palate.

The wine bursts with aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, and plums, accented by hints of violets and subtle spice. The palate is soft and velvety, offering juicy dark fruit flavours balanced by a mild sweetness that rounds the edges of the tannins. The finish is smooth and harmonious, leaving a lingering note of ripe berries. Easy-drinking and versatile, it pairs beautifully with charcuterie, soft cheeses, roasted poultry, or enjoyed on its own.

The 2010 Haut Bailly has consistently been a fantastic wine, and at seven years of age I have no reason to alter that view. It has a mixture of red and black fruit on the nose, wet stone, black olive and a light marine influence. It is still backward compared to other vintages, but it has not relinquished one iota of its intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. This is a voluminous Haut Bailly, one that is beginning to stretch its muscles, with a gentle grip in the mouth with a wonderful saline finish. There is huge potential locked into this wine, but patience is needed. 

This is the great wine of the Castello Nipozzano, from the vineyard Mormoreto planted in 1976. The first vintage was from the 1983 harvest, and since then has been produced only in the most favourable years. It was not produced from the harvests of 1984, 1987, 1989, 1992, 1998 or 2002. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot have, over time, formed an intimate bond with this terroir and now bring out all of its unique qualities. It is a wine of great depth, opulent and refined, that you can cellar for many years.

A deep ruby announces Mormoreto, almost opaque in its concentration. The nose is ultra-complex, delivering inebriating draughts of wild blackberry, raspberry, redcurrant, dried plum, dates, and wild red berry fruit, delicately lifted by floral impressions of sweetbriar and violets. Gradually emerging to deepen the rich bouquet even further are spicier nuances of vanilla, cocoa powder, tobacco leaf, and roast espresso bean, which act as a delicious foil to pungent notes of balsam and chlorophyll. A crisp, nervy acidity complements a suite of silky tannins, and both contribute to a palate that is notable for its warmth and roundedness. A finely-balanced, leisurely progression culminates in a lengthy, subtly-aromatic finish.

The 'Otima' Colheitas Port 2013 offers a rich and inviting bouquet with aromas of dried fruits, nuts, and spices. Beautiful expression of Sauvignon Blanc with floral and quince notes. Dry and refined, with a sleek, mineral-bolstered structure. Expect the flavors to echo the bouquet—floral blossom, orchard fruits, and saline clarity—all nestled in sustained freshness. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with shellfish, grilled fish, and light seafood dishes.

Hendrick’s Lunar is a Limited release, delightfully smooth and alluring gin that is rich with night blooming floral essence, offering a delicate balance of warm baked spices, and finished with a crisp burst of citrus. Lunar is best enjoyed during casual nights at home and is a curious companion for sundowners and starry nights with friends.

Deep and translucent purple colour, impressive for a young pinot, the bouquet fresh and bright and primal with a touch of smoky barrel/reduction overlying sweet plum and black cherry aromas. It's concentrated and rich, with superbly ripe pinot fruit and seamlessly handled oak, fine powdery tannins running the length of the palate and cleansing the finish beautifully. A less stemmy/whole-bunch influenced Tolpuddle pinot noir. It will take some age profitably.

Chateau la Croix du Casse is a wine of charm and seduction, a product rich in finesse, very representative of its terroir. Lots of underlying iron and earth notes dominate this dense ruby/purple wine, which also has plenty of cassis, black cherry and spice. Full-bodied yet so fine with poised tannins. Polished and beautiful. Stunning.

The ‘Rarissismes’ range is a selection of the best single vintage Cognacs in the Camus’s Cellar, a pure expression of the year, coming in a very limited volume, for a guaranteed outstanding Cognac.

The wine undergoes a longer maturation, ageing for 18–20 months in French oak barrels, with a judicious selection of new and used wood to support complexity without overpowering purity of fruit. This extended oak regime contributes integrated spice, subtle cedar and tobacco nuances, and a layered, refined finish that rewards cellaring and elevates the wine’s long-term potential.

The Tenuta di Castiglioni, the Frescobaldi family’s oldest estate, brought forth, in 1999, Giramonte, a rare and exclusive Cru, based on Merlot blended the the local Sangioveses. The qualities of its soil, an ideal microclimate, and rigorous selection of the fruit ensure, year after year, extraordinary consistency of quality.

The result is a wine of great richness and intensity, silk-smooth, and with an almost endless progression and finish. Giramonte is a lovely red with purple highlights, intense and impenetrable. The nose is fruity with blueberry, cherry and spicy notes of anise and black pepper. Hints of forest undergrowth: mushrooms and truffe accompanied by cocoa beans and coconut. Pronounced notes of coffee and fresh notes of sweet mint. The palate is very warm. Smooth, intense, with lovely and elegant tannins blended into the body. Powerful and persistent , the retro-olfaction is characterized by nuances of ripe fruit.

A vibrant, terroir-driven expression of Tinto Fino from organically farmed vineyards in the heart of Ribera del Duero. This wine showcases bright red fruit and floral aromas framed by fresh acidity and a sleek texture, reflecting the unique climate and soils of the region. It offers approachable elegance with depth, making it a versatile companion at the table.

After fermentation, the Crianza spends 12 months in French oak barrels, where subtle oak influence integrates with the fruit without overwhelming it. This maturation adds gentle spice, toasted notes, and softening of tannins, resulting in a wine that balances freshness, structure, and complexity with immediate drinkability.
