Oak-aged for 24 months, this shows a clear ruby red color. On the nose, the attack is fruity and floral at the same time with hints reminiscent of blackcurrants, blueberries and raspberries; floral notes reminiscent of violets and dog roses follow. This is followed by spicy notes reminiscent of black pepper, cloves and star anise. Delicate tertiary notes and freshness given by balsamic and citrus scents are also interesting. The palate reveals a nice acid-alcoholic component and the tannic texture is well present, dense and silky.

Thanks to the acquisition of vines planted at a place called in Pontet and the chai built in Fumet, Roger Bardet developed the first cuvées of the Pontet-Fumet castle in 1962. His grandchildren, today watch over this beautiful inheritance located in the appellation of Saint-Émilion Grand Cru: a magnificent terroir by the Dordogne from South to West Graves.Sporting a beautiful dress with garnet and ruby reflections, Château Pontet-Fumet reveals a complex and elegant nose.Silky and generous on the palate, its dense and balanced structure asserts itself by a good length.
Modest but sure of its presence, Clinet lies at one of the highest points upon the renowned plateau at the heart of Pomerol – instantly recognisable by its red shutters and beautiful roses. It is home to one of the oldest vineyards in the appellation, with traces of the vineyard’s existence dating back to 1595. This vineyard is equally famed for offering wine with an incomparable character and quality.
Clinet has been on a hot streak lately and the 2009 appears to be the greatest wine ever made at the estate, surpassing even the late Jean-Michel Arcaute’s monumental 1989. A blend of 85% Merlot and tiny amounts of Cabernet Franc (12%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (3%), this big Pomerol boasts an opaque, moonless night inky/blue/purple color in addition to a gorgeous perfume of blueberry pie, incense, truffles, black raspberries, licorice and wood smoke. Viscous and multi-dimensional with silky, sweet tannin, massive fruit concentration and full-bodied power, there are nearly 4,000 cases of this thick, juicy, perfect Clinet. It should drink well in 3-5 years and keep for 25-30 years.

Grosset Gaia is produced from cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc grown at the rocky, isolated, wind-swept two-hectare Grosset Gaia Vineyard. This tiny hand-tended vineyard planted 33 years ago produces reds with an amazing consistency of fruit flavours and style.
The 2016 Grosset Gaia has voluminous perfumes of blackcurrant, bramble and briar that are bold and enticing. It is powerful, dense and full-bodied, tightly wound around its firm core, yet softened by its velvety texture. It has a richness and concentration of flavour, balanced by substantial yet ultra-fine tannins. While more seductive and appealing on release than many vintages of Gaia, the 2016 shows every indication of being as age worthy as wine loves have come to expect.

100% Vermentino, sourced from a single parcel. Soil of Clay loam, rich in iron and manganese, with a high proportion of active limestone underlying; Hand harvested, matured for four months in stainless steel tanks on its lees. this is mineral, fresh and intense. Straw yellow in colour with hints of gold and green. On the nose it has subtle notes of lime blossom, yellow peach and apricot, and zesty grapefruit. The palate is crisp and delicious, perfectly echoing the aromatics on the nose, with tangy fruit and a mineral finish.

The precious oak notes of this venerable Cognac highlight the mysterious art of an ageing process which has successfully preserved the mineral purity of a manual harvest and the intrinsic qualities of an Eau-de-Vie. This Cognac was aged in new oak barrels almost half a century ago along the Charente river, in a cellar which has today become the Museum of Cognac.

This full and stimulating fragrance of the Camus XO Elegance Cognac also continues in the mouth. Here hazelnuts can be clearly discovered which emulate with a gentle hint of vanilla beans. Like a coat, the aroma of ripe plum lies down on the tongue and gives a rich and round body to the tasters.
The finish is smooth, long-lasting and spicy. The sweet facets of vanilla beans and plums linger. The almonds come more to the fore, accompanied by slightly peppery sounds and a touch of oak. This Camus XO in addition boasts a soothing resonance which remains very positive in memory for a long while.

Created in 1886, St-Remy is the world’s number-one French brandy. St-Remy is bottled in the Loire Valley and shipped around the world! St-Remy eaux-de-vie are aged in small French Oak barrels, and, as time passes, acquire their amber colour, their body and roundness, their fruity and floral accents and light spicy notes.
It is a genuine blend of French traditions, distilled and aged until just the right moment. The Master Blender then demonstrates all her expertise in blending them, selecting the right eaux-de-vie, capturing their unique, mellow and well-rounded aromas.
Wonderfully ripe Pinot Noir that sits somewhere between the Burgundian and New World styles. Classic Pinot fruit flavours of cherry and raspberry dominate the palate with the oak just bring a hint of earthiness. With great freshness, the mouth opens up nicely, revealing seductive citrus aromas, well balanced with a good acidity. Its mineral purity is punctuated on the finish by a touch of delicate bitterness. A remarkably fresh and deep wine, with typical Rhone characteristics, great with Mediterranean food and rockfish.
