The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 year old single malt whisky gains its distinctive character from being matured in two wood types. To make The Balvenie DoubleWood, David Stewart MBE takes whisky that has spent at least 12 years in traditional whisky casks, American Oak ex-Bourbon barrels and hogsheads, and moves it to Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry casks for an additional nine months. Each stage lends different qualities to the resulting single malt whisky.

The traditional casks soften and add delicate character, the sherry wood brings depth and fullness of flavour and the final few months in our tuns allow the whiskies to marry harmoniously. Sweet fruit and Oloroso sherry notes, layered with honey and vanilla. Smooth and mellow with beautifully combined flavours, nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicately proportioned layer of sherry. 

Our master brewers started from zero and spent years exploring, brewing, and tasting before they finally created a recipe defined by its refreshing fruity notes and soft malty body - perfectly balanced. One that deserves the Heineken mark. Of course, with the uncompromising Heineken characteristics since 1873: made with top ingredients and Heineken’s unique A-Yeast. It wasn’t easy, but not impossible.

Heineken® 0.0 is double brewed with the same ingredients as used for Heineken® Original (Water, Barley Malt, Hop Extracts, and Heineken® A-Yeast). We gently remove the alcohol with vacuum distillation and blend the brew to perfection with natural flavourings.

Borderies XO is powerful, rich and creamy with a particularly velvety texture. It reveals intense sweet pastry aromas alongside notes of cinnamon, dried fruit, old port and violet. A hint of almond emerges in the long-lasting finish.

Exploring a new dimension of Martell Ageing Savoir-Faire, this is the latest incantation of the famous Martell VSOP. They exclusively age our eaux de vie in fine grained oak barrels, in order to enhance subtly the delicate fruity aromas of our spirits, crafted from Martell specific distillation method. When a barrel is called ‘Red’, a reference to the reddish color of aged wood, it has aged before other eaux-de-vie during at least 2 years up to 8 years, reaching the perfect stage of maturation for both the wood and the spirit.

For Martell VSOP aged in Red Barrels, our cellar master selected only these very rare red fine grained oak barrels to age this cognac, highlighting Martell specific ageing style.

At first, the bouquet is round and fresh, run through by intense fruity notes. The aromas of fresh yellow stone fruits, like cherry plum and baby Reine-Claude, are gently coated by subtle mellowed woody notes. Once in motion, the power of its aromas grows and gains depth, with fleshier fruits such as apricot or vine peach chiming in. In the mouth, it has a full, broad attack and unveils the same intense fruity tones, small plums and honeymoon peaches and apricots. The fruity flavours are marvelously enhanced by delicate notes of sweet spices from the wood of the russet barrels, the very same barrels that create that perfect balance between the expressiveness of the eaux-de-vie and refinement of the spiced notes.

This exclusive Glenfiddich expression has been matured for 23 years in American and European oak casks and elegantly finished in rare premium French Red Wine casks. The finest flavours from Scotland and France have been fused together through the art of experimentation, to redefine moments of celebration and create a new and extraordinary drinking experience.

Torres 15 is a tribute to Miquel Torres Carb who, as a young man, rebuilt the winery after it had been destroyed in a 1939 bombing during the Spanish Civil War. He invested a lot of time and effort into creating old soleras and setting up large stocks of brandy.

This whisky has been called a lot of things in its time: smooth, fruity, complex, sophisticated, entertaining, classic. The Original Malt Whisky Almanac says: ‘A first-class malt. One of the most popular malts in the world – deservedly so.’ Representing The Glenlivet’s signature style, this classic malt is first matured in traditional oak, before spending time in American oak casks which impart notes of vanilla and gives the whisky it’s distinctive smoothness. The mineral-rich water that comes from Josie’s Well helps form the flavours during mashing and fermentation, whilst the specific height and width of the copper stills add a delicate yet complex character. Keep a bottle on hand for every occasion.

This 16-year-old Speyside single malt comes from the new Mortlach range, launched in 2018. Known as ‘the Beast of Dufftown’, Mortlach is distilled 2.81 times in a complicated process referred to simply as ‘The Way’. This single malt, dubbed the ‘Distiller’s Dram’, is matured in a mixture of refill and first-fill American and European oak sherry casks.

Rich and thick, with brown sugar syrup stirred into a bowl of dried raisins and apples. The sticky sweetness is tempered and balanced by gentle barrel char and sharp orchard fruit – unripe apples and crunchy pears. Dark oloroso notes build – sweet and savoury dried fruit – and dark chocolate sauce pools underneath. Hints of menthol and clove hide at the back.
