Jester Cabernet comes primarily from the Lopresti Lot 11 Vineyard, situated less than 4km from the coastline, and characterised by black Biscay clay with distinct limestone deposits, producing powerfully concentrated fruit, whilst the limestone element imposes finesse and a balanced acidity. After careful harvest, the wines spend 12 months maturation in 80% French and 20% American seasoned oak Hogs Head Barrels. No finings and only light filtration were used prior to bottling.

Savoury and red fruited with sweet plum, blackberry and blackcurrant, dark cherry, sage, clove and cola nut. Medium weighted and fine boned with soft cedary tannins and bright acidity. Undertones of leather and dry tobacco leaf emerge subtly through the finish.
