Tenuta Perano is an esteemed wine estate situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico region in Tuscany, Italy. Owned by the illustrious Frescobaldi family, whose winemaking heritage spans over 700 years, Tenuta Perano represents a blend of tradition and innovation in Tuscan winemaking.

Nestled amidst the rolling hills and vineyards of Chianti Classico, Tenuta Perano benefits from the region's favorable climate, altitude, and soil composition, ideal for cultivating Sangiovese, the flagship grape of the area, along with other indigenous and international varietals.

The estate's commitment to quality and sustainability is evident throughout its vineyards and winemaking practices. Tenuta Perano employs organic and biodynamic principles to cultivate its grapes, emphasizing environmental stewardship and the preservation of the land for future generations. After careful harvest, the wine is aged for over 12 months in oak barrels.

Tenuta Perano has a beautifully bright and radiant ruby-red colour. The richness and aromatic intensity are astonishing, and fruity notes are the first to emerge in an incredible way. Sour cherry is the first descriptor we encounter, followed by notes of berries and ripe red fruit. Hints of flowers, including rosehip and violet, then emerge together with a wonderful spicy flavour. Notes of black pepper and liquorice emerge at the end. The sumptuous elegance of Tenuta Perano Chianti Classico is accentuated by its exquisite freshness. This beautifully balanced and delicate wine is full of flavour and has enveloping tannins.
