Castello Pomino is a historic wine estate located in the picturesque hills of Tuscany, Italy, renowned for its elegant wines and stunning Renaissance-era castle. Nestled in the heart of the Chianti Rufina region, Castello Pomino boasts a winemaking heritage that dates back centuries.

Originally established in the 16th century, Castello Pomino has been meticulously tended and expanded over the years, with its vineyards benefiting from the region's unique microclimate and diverse soils. The estate is particularly celebrated for its production of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, planted in the mid-1800s with Ms Leonia, originally from Burgundy, married in the family. These varietals thrive in the estate's unique microclimate and soil composition, resulting in wines of exceptional quality and character. The Chardonnay displays vibrant fruit flavors and a subtle hint of oak, while the Pinot Noir offers complexity and finesse, with delicate aromas and a velvety texture.

This superbly elegant and stylish blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco comes from one of Tuscany’s greatest white-wine growing areas, grown in vineyards at elevations as high as 700 metres.

To the nose it is intensely flowery with frangipani and jasmine aromas mixed with the fruity notes of apricot and quince. In the glass, the wine also releases exotic scents of tropical fruit and fresh cardamom. When tasted, Pomino Bianco is flavourful and lively, with a balanced structure and persistent finish with a slight aftertaste of ripe raspberries.
