Chateau Roubine ‘Premium’ is crafted solely with estate-owned grapes, coming from the vineyard surrounding the Chateau, and classified, since 1955 as ‘Provence Premier Cru Classe’ – one of the 18 estates only in the prestigious appellation, and the only of those estates being certified biodynamic.

The grapes are harvested at night and taken to their state-of-the-art winery where the fermentation and maturation take place in stainless steel tanks – each grape varietals individually, prior to final blending. This wine is made carefully and with great precision and this is reflected in the end-product.

Dark, garnet colour with purplish reflections. On the nose, notes that are both meaty, sanguine (blood oranges) and juicy. A lightly roasted smoky touch (mocha) blends with a hint of leather. On the palate, this blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache gives a powerful, fleshy but perfectly harmonious wine. This ruby red is especially appreciated to accompany traditional cuisine: stew, blanquette and certain fish such as sea bream, sea bass as well as with cheeses.
