Chanson Chablis is a refined and elegant white wine, crafted from grapes grown on limestone-rich hillsides just south of the village of Chablis.

This region's unique terroir imparts a delicate minerality to the wine, giving it its distinct character. With a pale gold hue, the wine opens with fragrant floral notes of hawthorn, complemented by vibrant citrus aromas. On the palate, it delivers a refreshing and crisp attack, beautifully balanced with a precise, tense structure.

The long, refreshing finish carries subtle mineral hints, making it a versatile pairing for pâté, lobsters, poultry, and a variety of goat cheeses. Perfect for those who appreciate Chablis' signature freshness and complexity.

Site : Plot-based selection on hills ideally located south of the village of Chablis.

The Vintage 2022 : After a winter characterized by marked variations in temperature between January and February, spring started with mild temperatures. A sequence of cold weather in April was followed by warm temperatures in May but the lack of water was very noticeable and could not be compensated by the rainy storms of June. Summer was marked by several and long heat waves and the storms of the end of August were most welcome. The harvest at Chanson started on August 30 with a team of 100 persons and ended on September 13. 2022 vintage was quite generous both in volume and quality and the white wines are well-balanced, precise and refreshing.

Tasting : Pale gold colour. Floral fragrances (Hawthorn) mixed with citrus fruit aromas. Delicate minerality. Refreshing attack. Well-balanced, tense and precise. Long and refreshing finish with light mineral notes.

Food pairing : Pâté, lobsters and poultry as well as some goat cheeses.
