Buffalo Trace Distillery is a renowned American distillery located in Frankfort, Kentucky. The distillery's roots can be traced back to 1775 when it was established as a small distillery called Old Fire Copper Distillery. Over the years, it changed ownership several times and was renamed to George T. Stagg Distillery and then to the Buffalo Trace Distillery in 1999.
