This wine captures the essence of the terroir in Finca Altamira, located at 1,100m above sea level in the Uco Valley. Reflecting the unique characteristics of this site, it is crafted through a careful selection of micro-terroirs within the vineyard, segmented by varying soil profiles. Minimal intervention in both the vineyard and winery results in a pure, organic expression of Altamira. Following a manual harvest, the wine is aged for 12 months in large French oak foudres.

On the palate, it reveals notes of pure minerals, wet stones, sour red cherries, hibiscus, and a touch of iodine. The vibrant, juicy fruit is complemented by fresh, ashy tannins that give way to a long, focused finish. This powerful yet svelte wine showcases impeccable tension, precision, and freshness. Made from organically grown grapes and suitable for vegans. Drink now or hold!

An utter delight! Intense purple red colour, with aromas of black cherry and flowers like violet. Fresh, vibrant entrance, due to its natural acidity and the minerality provided by the Altamira terroir. In the mouth it is juicy, of good structure and volume with a long, tense and vibrant end. A lovely earthy character with an inner electricity shining all the way through.
