Château Cantemerle is a prestigious wine estate in the Haut-Médoc appellation of Bordeaux, France. Classified as a Fifth Growth (Cinquième Cru) in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, the estate has a history dating back to the 12th century. It is known for producing elegant and well-structured red wines, primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Château Cantemerle’s wines are admired for their finesse, balance, and aging potential, making them a favorite among Bordeaux enthusiasts.
