Should wine be served at 'room temperature,' even in Malaysia?

Table of Contents

This is an idea that I have heard many times: "I should serve my wine at room temperature" – even in Malaysia. Room temperature should be based on the country where the wine is made, not here. Wine cellars in Europe in winter can drop to 10 ˚C or below. If you want to enjoy your wine to the fullest, bring it into the living room earlier to reach 'room temperature' – but it shouldn't be kept at that level, especially for the long term. Here in Malaysia, it is recommended to have a wine chiller to properly store your wines – for the long or mid-term. You can check our selection of wine chillers here.
