Chateau Cheval Blanc is an esteemed winery located in the Bordeaux region of France. It is renowned for producing some of the most exceptional and highly sought-after wines in the world. The vineyards of Château Cheval Blanc span approximately 41 hectares (101 acres) and are predominantly planted with Cabernet Franc and Merlot, with smaller portions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. The unique soil composition, known as “graves,” along with the meticulous vineyard practices, contribute to the distinctive character and exceptional quality of the wines.  The winemaking at Chateau Cheval Blanc emphasizes a meticulous and artisanal approach. The grapes are carefully harvested and sorted by hand, and the vinification process includes a combination of stainless steel and oak vats. The wines are then aged in French oak barrels, where they develop complexity, structure, and the ability to age gracefully.
