‘Buio Buio’ – The Riserva range of the estate, spending over 12 months in oak barrels – is is deep ruby red in color withcherry highlights. There are complex aromas of red berry fruit and blossoms, balsamic notes, and hints of spices and new oak on the nose. Originally from Spain, Carignan, also known as Carignano or Carignane, thrives In Sardinia, in the warm and sunny climate, as well as the calcareous and sandy soils found in the region. The grape is known for its ability to withstand harsh growing conditions, making it well-suited to Sardinia’s hot and dry climate. It produces wines that are deeply coloured, rich in tannins, and exhibit intense flavours.
