Ayala ‘Brut Majeur’ Champagne (Magnum – 1,500ml)
Brut Majeur is the epitome of a non-vintage brut from a great, historic House and is the finest ambassador for the House’s freshness and elegance. Brut Majeur is a blend of Pinot Noir (40%), Chardonnay (40%) and Pinot Meunier (20%). Pinot Noir and Chardonnay bring vinosity and delicacy together in a very harmoniously balanced blend. The complement of Pinot Meunier adds a touch of fruitiness and liveliness.
Pale gold in color with a fine mousse, the Brut Majeur is aromatic on the nose. On the palate, it is well balanced and shows great style and complexity. Pinot Noir gives the wine richness and a long finish while Chardonnay, from the finest soils of the Ci«ote des Blancs, adds delicacy, liveliness and freshness.

About The Brand
Champagne Ayala is one of the longest-established champagne Houses; it has been based in Ay, at the heart of the great champagne vineyards, since it was founded in 1860. Independent and family-owned, it is still today the archetype of a great and historic House, producing top quality wines which are enjoyed throughout the world for their freshness and elegance.
Champagne Ayala has always been a small, independent and family-run business. After the Second World War the House went through a rather quiet period as its leaders occupied important positions in Champagne trade associations. In 2005 the Bollinger family bought this fine estate, with the intention of restoring it to its former glory. This was the start of a resurgence for Champagne Ayala, with complete restoration of winemaking facilities and the arrival of new staff, yet keeping the family spirit of its origins, and reinforce the pillars forming the Ayala style: pure expression of Chardonnay, unique diversity of crus, bespoke blend, reserve wines and low dosage.
