“This wine is more about style than variety. It is meant to be bright, rustic, savoury, interesting and above all, delicious. Medium red. Rustic earthy aromas, bright red fruits, dark chocolate. Plump, slightly savoury palate with good texture and length.

This has polish, intensity, length and charm – it’s a gorgeous sangiovese. It’s cherried and nutty and gently spicy, and while it flows with easy-going flavour it has enough tension to give it focus, and lend drama. It’s outrageous value. You won’t find anything close to its quality anywhere near this price.
